Rain

and... it started raining again and thus we couldn't go to Stradbrooke Island as planned...
I worked Thursday and Friday for my PhD... lot's to do... don't know where to start. Chapter on methods, chapter on sporting structures in Belgium and Australia, write application for funding, prepare research proposals for federations...

Friday night was jills last night at the Gold Coast before her 10day trip to Tasmania. We went to the Q1 Skydeck

" Q1 (meaning Queensland Number One) is a supertall skyscraper located in Surfers Paradise, on the Gold Coast. It is the world's tallest residential tower, the tallest building in Australia and Southern Hemisphere and the second tallest free-standing structure in the Southern Hemisphere, behind Auckland's Sky Tower. Q1 was opened in November 2005.

We took a cab to the Q1 in Surfers Paradise. With the lift we went to the 77th floor and there we had a nice bottle of wine after enjoying the nice views of Surfers Paradise by night.
